Hong Kong internship trying to move into USA

Hi all, I have graduating from a top-15 ranked MBA program this up coming spring, and I've interned at a top BB firm in Hong Kong. However, I am not having a lot of luck getting an offer here at USA. I was wondering if firms here in the US do not value internships in Hong Kong.

I hope someone can explain to me how I can use my international internship to find an offer here in the USA.

Thanks!!

I will be doing ER still. My concern is that my school does not have a venue for on campus recruiting, my internship experience is in HK (it's a top notch bb though). I am doing my CFA level I this summer. I am not sure how seriously people will look at me as a candidate b/c of my school not having on campus recruiting, and my experience is an internship in HK. My previous profession is not related to finance at all.

I'm also curious about the question. If you were working in a large bb, why not talk to your manager and see if any internal opportunities working in US? Is the internal mobility within large companies high or not?

What is your actual story behind your transfer? I know some peeps at my division who sucessfully transfered internally to NYC, not sure if the same applies to people at hk
