How do you dodge the We are not hiring point?

Hey guys. Ive been cold calling and cold emailing boutiques. 95 percent of them have responded stating, "we're not hiring".

Have any of you faced such situations? How did you guys manage to over come it? Is there anyway one could change or influence their decisions via cold calls and emails?

Thanks in advance.

Here are a few things you need to do

Tell them you are still interested and will keep in touch in case any new positions open Try to figure out why they aren't hiring if you can be subtle about it Leave a memorable impression if possible. Use your best selling point Follow up once in a while, showcase some work you've done that is relevant to them

The general idea. Behind these actions is not to sell too hard. At the same time, prove you are useful and can add value to the firm. Don't tell them they are missing out, let them come up with that themselves AFTER they see what you can do.

state that you are interested in both FT and SA/internships

and emailing is in my opinion the superior way to cold calling

if you know how to write perfectly ofc.. because you give them the time, and also they will put you in their database or forward your CV to someone..

The same way you dodge, " I don't fuck on the first night" or "I don't know you like that"

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
