Application Change
I realized I did not put my proper address in my application (Goldman Sachs not accepting google auto fills). Can I withdraw my application then just apply again making sure it is the correct one?

Yessir pretty much the purpose of that option
kidbrown is wrong. Contact someone in HR. Withdrawing an application is flagged in the system and looks bad. Plus you run the risk of duplicate error with other copies of data (like your name and school).
I remember I submitted 3 applications for MS and then tried to swap an application by withdrawing one and applying to a different division for my 3rd application. Wouldn't let me.
oh that's not what I heard from a couple contacts, but they're not in HR so I guess they could be wrong

Changing my application after deadline (Originally Posted: 11/18/2011)
Some background information - just a few days before an application for a summer associate at a BB is due, I got an email from a VP in IBD encouraging me to apply. I know this isn't a generic email as not all my classmates received it.
At time of submission, I was mostly interested in S&T, so I did make IBD as one of my choices. But after further research and networking, I am now more interested in the field, and feel that IBD fits me better, and now I regret not applying to it at this BB, which I actually like. Is it worth it for me to call this VP and ask him to also consider me? At the same time, I'm worried that if he says it's too late, it will also hurt my already-submitted application for S&T...
Any advice would help :)
I don't even understand what you're trying to say here. So you applied to S&T but also made IBD as one of your choices? Then in effect you applied to more than one division and your application is sent in to both S&T and IBD, right? Am I misunderstanding something here?
Sorry I meant to say I didn't choose IBD in my original application.
In general, how do companies view when candidates choose more than one division, does this show a lack of focus and uncertainty about what you want?
How to update the phone number after submitting the IB applications? (Originally Posted: 08/23/2013)
I am a one-year master student at a target UK university. In order to submit the application earlier as always recommended, I have to submit the application before having my new mobile number. That being said, at some point, I need to go back to the submitted application to update the number. Do u guys have any experience in how this is done or should I simply postpone submission until I would have the new number?? Many thanks.
Postpone it so you don't have to update each application/recruiter.
Call them and tell them what's up. These kind of nuanced what-if scenarios are always more headache than they're worth figuring out.
I've been through the same thing in Australia. In most cases when applying online, it's supposed to be as easy as going online and updating it- however, be warned: although my number was updated online, the bank that I eventually accepted an offer from only looked at the number on my resume that was submitted with my original application (which didn't have my new number) and tried that a few times without success until they gave up and emailed me. This happened when setting up my initial interview and giving me the offer. Although they could contact me over email, it was an unnecessary hassle and I would recommend avoiding having to change the number on their records if at all possible.
