IBM CBD vs KPMG Offers
Hi All,
I recently received offers from IBM's Consulting by Degrees Program working as an entry level Oracle/SAP Consultant and an offer from KPMG IT Advisory's practice.
The salaries are relatively similar so the money is really a big issue
For those who have experience in the industry or with these 2 firms your input is welcomed.
Which company would give me a better entry level career experience and provide the best opportunity for growth in the long run?
I'm also considering getting an MBA in the future and of course any exit opportunities that would present themselves should I go that route.
Kpmg
I don't know much about tech consulting at the Big 4 but assuming it's in line with their other services, I'd go for KPMG too. You'll get really good training and experience while there and the Big 4 are generally considered one of the best places to launch your career for that reason.
Do you want to be a tech consultant? If so, how do you think IBM (Fortune 20 company. Tech market dominator) is going to look on a resume for some one interested in the tech space? No contest, brother.
KPMG if you don't like your job can always move around. Big 4 is pretty good at horizontal mobility
