If you can't break into S&T right now and need to pay the bills, will sales in a F500 carry some weight?

If you can't break into S&T out of UG but plug away at the CFA on the side, would a sales gig for a F500 company help your resume a tad for the future.

I can't stand the idea of working a bitch admin role stuck at a shitty wage with no commission. Some sales gigs have huge potential thus why i'm attracted to it.

Regardless, I turn to WSO to ask for some professional advice on this topic.

I just landed a corporate sales role with a large F500 company, plan to write cfa 1 in december and 2 in june, continue to invest on the side and hopefully break in later in the future?

is this a viable route?
