Is Financo a well known/respected bank?
Obvioisly a smaller shop but they specialize in the fashion/retail space and appear to have done a large number of deals in the space.

Career Resources
Yes, they are very good in that space.
I have never heard of them before but I just googled them and they seem like a respectable firm from what I saw.
Great firm with good dealflow. Read a few topics/reviews here about the douchey people though.
They were one of the two primary advisers, alongside Goldman, on the MW-Jos A Bank deal. They are definitely (one of) the top specialists in the retail space.
Industry focused boutique, top firm in the Consumer & Retail space. At one point, this was Lehman's middle market group. Financo name was reacquired later on. Check out their website, they have solid transaction experience with solid companies: Jos.A. Bank/MensWarehouse, AllSaints/LionCapital, Liz Claiborne, Forever 21, Cipriani, Stuart Weitzman, Harry's of London, etc.
Insight into Financo or specialty boutiques? (Originally Posted: 09/29/2008)
Has anyone worked at Financo or know what it's like to work there in terms of culture etc? Thoughts on exit opps from a specialty boutique in terms of MBA school or going to a BB?
Thanks guys, really appreciate it!
