Internship in Moscow or London?

Hi all,

I am applying for summer internships in IBD in Russian banks and was wondering whether it is better to apply in London or in Moscow? Moscow is where their headquarters are.

So basically - is it better to go for the banks strongest market (i.e. Russia) where it's the No.1 bank, or is it better to be in the financial center (i.e. London) where there's generally more opportunities but the bank would be regarded as much less dominant.

Considering I speak fluent Russian and study in London.

Many thanks in advance.

I have permission to work both in Russia and UK. I was just wondering if it would add extra credibility to my experience if I were to work in the bank's strongest market, i.e. Russia - or if I work in their London offices?

If I were later to apply to BB, which one would they rather see on my CV?

Intern where you want to work full time.
