Interview with no pre-MBA finance background

Hey everyone, I've got a question that I would like to ask some of our more experienced members on here and specifically I would like to know how you would approach this from our end.

Through dumb luck, I have somehow managed to swing a post-MBA PE interview with no finance background pre-MBA and coming from a public sector background (think Navy/Air Force ops), while at a school that is ranked towards the tail end of the top 20.

I do have a finance internship over the summer and the program in question is rotational, where you spend some time in private equity, private debt placements, and other private investment product groups at the firm.

Needless to say it's a great opportunity, particularly given that the rotational nature of the program will make it easier for me to find a good niche than any non-rotational investments jobs. Another factor is that this is a European firm that is opening a new US office and that I have work experience with financial services firms in the country that said firm is based in. I strongly suspect that the combination of experience working with those countries and languages, with a relevant US internship, is why I got picked out of the stack.

My question to the forum is this: if you were sitting across the table assigned to interview someone with a resume similar to what I've described, what would you view as the biggest challenges and what could I do to make you feel comfortable selecting me over a candidate with IB/ER/etc. experience pre-MBA?
