What business are you running now? Do you think you can grow and earn more money from the business?

If you ask me, it sounds like you already have a great career and are making some solid money so why not expand on that. To give up the business you are running, pay 150K, and then spend years working your way up a corporate latter seems like a waste to me when you are already calling the shots, but then again I am not you....Do you like what you are doing now and do you really want to do consulting or is it just a prestige thing with saying I went to XYZ MBA.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

Assuming you're in a decent sized city, you could always do a part time program if you really want an MBA and continue running your business during the day/on the side.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford
