Just started an RA in consulting...include on resume?

So...I'm currently on a leave of absence from school and plan to return this January, and am currently turning in applications to the Asia-Pacific (HK, Sing, etc.) for IBD.

Long story short, I did what I had to do during my leave and had a couple of months to kill before going back to school...and I felt like I was wasting time and getting lazy, so I decided to look for internships that I could do during November-December.

The only decent opportunities I could find were research assistant positions for consulting firms that needed monkeys for individual projects, so I decided to give it a go anyway even though I was more interested in IBD.

It is not MBB, but a fairly well-known perhaps tier 2 (or 3, I don't really know) global consulting firm (think Oliver Wyman, BHA, Monitor, ATK, Accenture). Now, my question: should I include this in my resume? I just started this week, so I suppose I would have to kind of project forward what I would be doing on this job...

Also, I don't have any IBD experience on my resume. I wanted to try out a lot of different things so my experiences are a little all over the place. My last finance related internship was at PwC...will putting this RA job make banks think I am more interested in consulting than IBD?

Thanks guys (and girls)
