Lack of sleep linked to early death
Besides being miserable from lack of sleep, now we can all look forward to an increased risk of death.
Anybody worried?

Not really worried. Here's how I look at it.
Say I sleep 4 hours a night, that means I'm awake 5/6 of the time, whereas if I slept 8 hours a night, that means I'm only awake and living life 2/3 of the time. So...
5/6 * 60 = 50 years of living
2/3 * 75 = 50 years of living
So your really just kind of looking at when you want to live your life. Personally, I think for a lot of people, life kind of goes downhill after you turn 60ish, so living more while you're younger would seem more enjoyable to me. Plus, I mean personally, old people are infuriating, and I don't really want to be that guy in the driving hat in the Buick who can't look behind him when he's backing out of his driveway.
Sleeping 4hrs a night allows for an enjoyable life? News to me.
After working in finance, I've come to realize that one of the greatest joys of life is sleeping in.
Guenter, there is a flaw in your thought process. Yes, you are awake for 5/6 of the day, but almost every minute of that time is spent stuck in a tiny triangle....boundaries drawn by your cube, the printer, and your senior's office. That aint living life dude...
shit i've realized that it's one of the greatest joys of life and i haven't even started yet! can't wait for this summer..
60 is the new 25, duh!
