Liberal Arts Student (Middlebury), Standing out for Sophomore Summer internship
I am a rising sophomore at Middlebury and trying to get an internship at a IB next summer. As a student coming from a liberal arts college and having not taken any finance classes, what can I do this summer to stand out and learn more about finance to prepare for interviews? I was thinking of taking an online corporate finance and Investment Management course through Wharton. Additionally, would taking a Wall Street Prep modelling course, learning to use Bloomberg terminal, or learning programming (R, Python, etc.) be helpful? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
