listing investing
what are peoples opinion on including personal investing on a resume? I trade a portfolio of options and don't know if i should put it on. If so, how should I list it? What have other people done?

I've seen it on plenty of resumes.
Personally, I think it comes off as sounding a bit nerdy; however, if it’s relevant to the job you're applying for (e.g., S&T) I would include the info.
if you put "trade a portfolio of options", be prepared to talk about what goes into your decision making, what black scholes is, etc.
Only mention if your returns are decent and you can explain your trades.
Include it in the bottom interests/activities section.
Why do you think it sounds "nerdy" and who says that? Including an interest (especially one directly related to a potential job), which you genuinely enjoy, is looked upon favorably and serves as a good conversation piece (assuming you know what you are talking about).
Definitely put it on your resume. I just went in for an S&T interview ad I traded a simulated portfolio and my portfolio did extremely well. I gained about 15% overall.
I explained that I don't just invest in certain stocks for the sake of investing. I look at ratings issued by Moody's and the S&P, I stay on top of market news by reading the Wall Street Journal and other relevant periodicals and I look at some technical information like P/E ratios.
It really sets a great tone.
