Litigation financing salary/bonus structures?

This is my first post here although I have read the site on and off for some time. I run an RIA which focuses on alternative Asset Management but recently I was approached by a reputable firm about working with them in raising capital for litigation funding. My question is does anyone have any experience with this field of the market and if so how does comp typically work?
My guess is it can be structured as a percentage of assets raised or a base with a bonus for meeting targets within ramp up times. If anyone can shed any light I would greatly appreciate it as I have always been on the sales/trading side and not on the IB side.
