Come on.. I don't know anything about the cost of living in Charlotte but I'm sure it's a FRACTION of New York's. Thus, given that you'll be making +70k/year, why don't you just get a super-nice apartment (which will cost twice as much as the regular Charlotte apartment but half of a crappy Manhattan apartment) for yourself?
