Anybody apply to any of these programs? How difficult are they to get into, and how good does it look on your resume?

Career Resources
I'd also be curious about the valuation seminar. They just listed positions in it with my school's career office.
Is this worth recommending to younger students?
I applied to the valuation seminar and hopefully will get it. I've done a boutique IB internship and definitely don't have strong modeling skills. When do you think we should hear back by?
Anyone hear back about this yet?
Nope
I heard back last week. I'm going to the one on November 29.
Anyone hear back from the LA office yet?
I applied to the LA office and have not heard back yet still.
chicago office, havent heard, supposed to troday
anything yet?
I got an email yesterday morning from them and was accepted into the LA Valuation Seminar on December 3rd, I think it was. Pretty excited

Is there anyway to still apply for the program? If not, will there be a similar session during the Spring?
Resume Question - Invited to join Merrill Lynch Valuation Seminar (Originally Posted: 11/19/2007)
I was invited to join Merrill Lynch's Valuation Seminar on Dec. 7, but most of the deadlines for resume drops for my school end before that date. Would it be alright if I listed the valuation seminar under experience? It would add lots of value and a unique experience to my perspective.
Would banks look and frown on this since I haven't really been through the program- just accepted and planning on attending?
I would add it, and indicate the date somehow.
Also it gives you something else to talk about during an interview.
how would you indicate it on your resume? any kind of example would be really appreciated
That's what I am wondering as well. I was thinking about putting it under my last section of my resume - Leadership Experience or Additional Information I guess?
Put it under education or something as a bullet point
Anyone here back from the Houston office?
Yes, I heard from the Houston Office last week. I'm leaving Friday morning. They pay for everything: air fair, cab, meals. Pretty excited about it.
