Yahoo finance has analyst estimates
2 good sources, cheers Jay! Also found this which is good (just change the ticker symbol in the URL).
Any others that tell you as the estimates change? If there was a reputable earnings estimate focused twitter that would be cool...
Thanks browniepoints, I brand new with WSO, so Im happy to know that I am of some help! Thanks for your source too!
Also, I think bloomberg provides earnings information as well.

Anyone have any clue where to get earnings consensus for a few years back? Everything trades on forward data / expectation and i'm hoping to study historical valuations.

Extremely interesting. Could be a gem if it isn't fucked up by uninformed numbers.
factset for sure. you can get historical EPS estimates FY1, FY2. I've done it before. bloomberg also might have it.

If you're creating comp sheets for a valuation, and you need forecasted figures... sales/EBIT/EBITDA/EPS... where could you get this for free? And for all the bankers out there, where do you guys get these figures from? from your own equity research analyst reports?
Where could I find this data for free? Yahoo finance has EPS and growth estimates, but none of the other figures.
bloomberg terminal (not free)
reuters (not free)
thomson first call (not free)
some colleges have subscriptions to analysts reports. you can try that if you need this stuff
its all about bberg but unfortunately very far from free
maybe your school has a bloomberg terminal you can use? (if you are still in school)
i find yhoo finance pretty inaccurate generally
Some schools have access to Thomson One Banker that can give you a good deal of information.
FactSet
Edit: sorry, I didn't pay close enough attention to the OP... FactSet isn't free, obviously.
I have bloom at work... but really have no use of it in my day to day job, so cant really sit there using it for non-work related stuff. Well thanks for the input.
Im trying to create an lbo model using the IBI template, and an industry standard LBO templates I got a hold of. Any advice?
