IB and PM are two very different tracks. It might help to consider which track better suits long-term goal.
^^^ completely agree. Do you enjoy fundamental investing, macro trends, asset allocation? Then definitely leverage to another PM or even try to stay on at yours. Are you interested in deal execution / M&A, helping companies finance operations? Then shoot for IBD.
