PPHB energy Houston info
Anyone know anything about Parks Paton Hoepfl Brown and their culture, deal flow, etc? They are in Houston and work in the energy space, but that's I know.
Thanks

Career Resources
ibreppin I have an acquaintance who worked there briefly. From what he has told me they work on deals
Thanks for the info!
Yeah, I've heard they work in the OFS space. Guess I shouldn't expect much info on the bank from WSO since they are so small
ibreppin have you tried LinkedIn? I'm sure you can find folks who have or are currently working there. If you are in need and can't find anyone I can give you the name of the contact I know of who worked at PPHB.
Out of curiosity are you in IB right now? If so, would you be able to answer some questions via PM?
TTT - Anyone have any additional insight?
BankerC159 what additional insight are you looking for? If its recruiting I believe they recruit at specific schools and probably includes UT and A&M (PPHB revamped their website but don't have a careers page so this is based on what I know speaking to former analyst that worked there).
Thanks for the post, a recruiter had mentioned this firm to me and I was just curious to the deal flow/comp/exit opportunities. I'd be looking at an Associate level, so not sure if your analyst connection has any insight into that.
I am an alum at the aforementioned firms, so thinking about networking with them.
TIA.
BankerC159 I work in the O&G industry (OFS specifically) so what I can tell you is that there deal flow is definitely slower however, they did work on a SLB acquisition for Omron so I'm assuming they have very lean teams and are OK with slower deals that take time to materialize.
Firm specific, they are well known for OFS deals IB to PE is possible but I wouldn't expect to land a role at Warburg or First Reserve but I could be wrong.
I assume you're looking for IB for long term maybe? Mind if I PM you with some questions/thoughts? Thanks
I interviewed there a while ago. I can provide some insight
