Put clubs over retail experience?

So I have been working retail and most recently at a golf course doing outside staff work and I was wondering if you guys thought it to be OK to put clubs at my university, like the investment banking club and finance association over my work experience? As well as a current trading competition that has been going on.

Like I said, my only experience with work is between retail and outside staff so clubs and competitions may be a little better to have at the top of my resume considering they show interest in the field.

Any input is great, thanks.
