Question about specific trading groups

What are the exit opportunities / earnings potential for the following equities (or FICC) groups after 3-5 years (at say GS/MS)? Which skillset do you think is the most sought after for buyside firms or for raising a fund in the long run?

Any equities group in particular that may stand out more so?

Earning Opportunitie--They sky is the limit depending on your ability.

The same as for all sales and trading jobs. MD on desk, prop desk at bank, or HF specializing in that area. Obviously, the more quantitative/specialized skill set you have the more your skills are desired (ex. Cash Equities vs. Equity Derivatives), but there are opportunities for both. The type of HF you start will depend on your own abilities and skill sets. You will not be doing VolArb if you were an equities trader.
