Analysis may sound better but
Analysis may sound better but it's not necessarily correct. We need more context. Did you do a single analysis or multiple ones? If you worked with several groups and conducted more than one analysis then "analyses" is correct.
It's somewhat a poorly constructed sentence. Research can be singular or plural, same goes for your analysis part, and presentations is plural. If what I said above is true then for consistency the plural form is correct. When you study for the GMAT you'll realize that its not good to trust your gut from the sound of a sentence alone.
@mb666 exactly because
@mb666 exactly because research and presentations are plural, I thought I should be using the plural, analyses. Of course, I also carried out more than one type of analysis. In my resume i have it as analysis but after thinking about it, it seems that it should be analyses for consistency as well as to represent the intended meaning. The majority here, however, thinks otherwise. Not sure why. English is not my native language, so this is extra tricky in my case.
Feel free to suggest a different format for the sentence.
Your best bet would be to
Your best bet would be to re-format your sentence so we don't have this problem. But if you don't, it will honestly be fine with analysis, I'm serious. It sounds more normal, and no one will have a problem with this, but if you really did carry out multiple methods of analysis and presentations/research is plural then you can also go with analyses. Either way is fine honestly.
