Received an email from J.P. Morgan: "Invitation: JP Morgan PB Analyst Interview" -- but already interviewed?
Hi guys, I received an email from JP with the aforementioned subject inviting me to an on-site 1 hour interview.
My question is the following: I have already interviewed with the entire team at this location for the role under consideration, so is there a reason as to why they would need to have another interview? Is this what people call a "superday?"
Also, what can I expect at such an interview if I've already had on-site interviews?
I'd really appreciate some feedback regarding this matter.
Thank you!
wow, it's so late though.
Possibe that one of the people they originally hired reneged and they're short a person. I heard this happened at BAML recently.
This could be a few things. If you have already interviewed with the entire team (I assume that includes MDs) then this is either another round of interviews or an incorrectly/automated email sent by HR. I remember my friends and I getting a rejection email for an interview from Morgan Stanley 7 weeks into the summer internship at another bank. When you interviewed with the team, did they say how many rounds there would be or when you would find out if you got the position? I would email an HR person/a junior member of the team you interviewed with explaining that you received this email, but that you already interviewed with the group and would like to verify whether this is another round of interviews or an incorrectly sent email.
I interview for JPM PB and got an email saying that I hadn't been selected for an interview...after I had already interviewed with the whole team haha, needless to say I was dinged.
Is this in CA?
Posted JPM PB post... but already posted?

When were your interviews on site? Fall OCR?
The interviews were at their offices in my city. It was not OCR. I interviewed 3 weeks ago.
If this helps, I've gotten the same notification about two or three times over the past few weeks from JP reminding me that I did not get an interview for the position I applied for...as if I didn't remember the first or second time. There's a slight chance there's some glitch happening, but I would say check to be sure.
