Resume Review - Non-Target
Hello,
I will be graduating in a couple of months from a non-target school and would very much appreciate your feedback on my resume. I have a lot of international experience and have recently become very interested in consulting. Obviously I lack the impressive credentials of many fellow forum members, but I've done my best to stay busy and get exposure to different industries/fields. It would be great to hear back on what you think I should concentrate on in order to be able to obtain a position at a top consulting firm after graduation.
Thank you!

Here's another Private Equity Resume Review thread.
y r u putting your high school...
because i wanted to have that Spanish language certificate in there, which I got before starting HS. Should I remove the high school and just keep the language certificate?
Or add my high school GPA which was a 4.1? What do you think? Is it completely amateur to have that info on there?
Since your GPA was high I would put the 4.1 next to the hs.
I would probably completely remove the high school information and the certificate information. At the bottom you already state that you are fluent, so why waste so much room when you can use it to prove better skills? A certificate really doesn't mean anything. And I can't imagine anyone caring about the high school except for a select few private schools.
Use that new room to add bullet points for your administrative assistant positions. Why would you have that without any details?
Also, I would move the dates to the right-hand side of the page. When I scan the resume on the left-hand side, I would rather read the position and the company rather than the dates.
Your spacing within the dates is also not consistent.
Under skills your capitalization and abbreviation is not uniform. "Lived & Worked" is not consistent with "Strong research and analytical skills". In fact, I would also probably remove "In-depth social media skills" and "Strong research and analytical skills" and instead try to add bullet points that actually provide details and justification for them under your activities. What exactly is a social media skill? What impresses me that you have it? How did you develop your research skills?
I would also bold certain points of your resume to make them stand out. Nothing really pops out to the eye from as far as aesthetics.
Your bullet points also aren't consistent as far as "and" and "&".
