Rothschild NYC Office
Hey guys,
It's been a while. I was doing some research yesterday on Rothschild's European practice out of curiosity (yeah that's what I do in my free time), which got me thinking - what do we know about their NYC practice? Do analysts get the typical PE exit opps of a middle market bank? Or is there a disadvantage given the smaller presence?
There's just lots of conflicting info out there.
NYC practice is pretty good, think of them like a step down from HL NY in most respects (including RX, ofc). Their RX practice is quite strong though not on the level of HL/PJT/Laz
What about analyst exits?

After closing a number of higher-profile deals, including the $1.1bn Pep Boys / Icahn tie-up, it's safe to say that they have begun to pursue their effort to move from MM to top tier boutique.

Anyone Have Experience Interviewing for Rothschild NY? (Originally Posted: 11/15/2016)
Would love any insight into what Rothschild super day looks like for the NYC office. Technical vs. fit; certain topics they grill on, etc.
Thanks!

I do for a summer associate position - can give you some insight although it will be different than SA. Feel free to DM.
When was your superday, did you hear back?
not sure where you go to school but they are notoriously technical from some of my classmates who had superdays with them (I go to a target school). Very little behavioral for them, just a ton of technicals
How did it go?
Keep us updated!
Technical, but not very tough questions especially if you have experience in finance. What did u think?
