Rothschild NYC Office

Hey guys,

It's been a while. I was doing some research yesterday on Rothschild's European practice out of curiosity (yeah that's what I do in my free time), which got me thinking - what do we know about their NYC practice? Do analysts get the typical PE exit opps of a middle market bank? Or is there a disadvantage given the smaller presence?

There's just lots of conflicting info out there.

After closing a number of higher-profile deals, including the $1.1bn Pep Boys / Icahn tie-up, it's safe to say that they have begun to pursue their effort to move from MM to top tier boutique.

Historically, their U.S. practice has been MM-focused, but this year has forcefully brought on change in that vein
