Salary stated by recruitment agency = hiring company budget?
Hello.
I found an interesting job posting offered by a recruitment agency which lists the salary as 50k. But I know the company which that posting is refering to so I can apply directly. The hiring company itself does not post a salary, but asks the applicant to state salary expectations in a cover letter.
I am not entirely sure on how recruitment agencies work, but I believe they take ~15 % of your salary, so the salary they state is not the real salary the hiring company would offer, but in fact only 85% of that?
Can anyone confirm that I can ask the hiring company for ~60k which would be the true salary or am I misinformed?
