Sampling European LBO deals on Capital IQ

Hi all !

I've been struggling with CIQ for a week now and what I can tell is that despite several user guides found on the Internet i am still not able to find what I'm looking for on this database...

In fact for the quantitative step of my thesis, I need to build up a sample of European LBO deals which occurred between 2006 and 2015. I am looking for several information such as acquisition multiple, some financials about the target companies and details about debt used (senior, mezzanine...) and PE firms behind.

Until now, I could only come up with results focused on the PE firms (see printscreens). I would prefer to see the companies which went under LBO and then the acquiring PE firms. The last columns would give information on the deal.

Is it possible or not because I obviously do something wrong but do not know what... If anyone could share his knowledge of CIQ on the way to structure my research that would be so helpful!

Have a nice day :)
