Series 79 Exam: on-demand lectures of STC? - Experience

I'm looking for advice on Series 79 exam prep material. I've used Knoppman and STC (self study material) so far and considering buying online classes from one of these groups, most likely from STC.

Anybody has experience with on-demand lectures of STC? Is it worth $225? Studying from PDF gets old and I prefer lectures over pdfs.

Thx

Lectures are useless. Use the Knopman practice tests and:
  1. Memorize the ANSWERS then,
  2. Memorize questions and,
  3. Learn the concept of math problems and do a few

Knoppman's practice test questions and answers are word for word on the actual exam. All you need is a 73%... Even if you skipped all the math problems on there, you can still pass it.

Interesting advice. The math questions were quite easy IMO anyway. If you have actually worked in IB, even briefly and understand the concepts, you should have no problem. It's 10x easier than the CFA. The regulatory bullshit is the hardest b/c its all memorization.

It's what I found to be the most effective. I didn't have much time to study for them, so I only took practice questions in between book turns.

No, the math wasn't hard, but it also took the longest to actually go through the steps and do it. Yes, the memorization is the most challenging, but that's what repetition is for.

So investing in online classes is waste of mullas! I just started Ch 7 and I understand what you mean by memorization. This thing is random and pointless. I'm assuming Ch 8 and 9 will be same of STC.
