Should I return back to my BB?

I just finished a summer internship at a bulge bracket BB (think Goldman, Citi etc.), loved my experience and would love to return. I got an offer back. I was thinking though, what looks more impressive on one's resume-having experience at the same bank for two summers or having experience from various banks on the street? (I have one more summer left as an undergrad to do an internship as I'll be graduating in Dec 08)

if other bb will see it.. i guess there will be like: ahh the other bb wanted him twice.. so he has to be good at his job.

would be good for your future.

otherwise if you want some different experiences go for another one

I was at Lehman...can't give out my group info as this forum is constantly perused by folks at LB

my group wasn't as prestigious as say MS M&A or JPM Lev Fin. but it wasn't a gutter group...it was a pretty respectable coverage group

so should do one more summer or shop around?

p.s I really loved working at Lehman

If you are one of those real hoo ray! Lehman! people (some people that work there are really gung ho and put Lehman miles above any other bank), than work their. You will be happy and do well.

If not, and that kind of attitude makes you a little sick to your stomach, go eslewhere. There are a handful of banks that are "better", but really in terms of exit opps once your up to Lehman level it is much more about leveraging contacts and getting in touch with the good headhunters anyway.

you liked it there, lehman hires a high % of SAs for full time, and honestly there isnt that much upside in terms of trying to get to another bank over lehman...

There's a huge upside if you can get another bank other than lehman.
