Should The NFL Change Its Overtime Rules?

As a Patriots fan, I admit that I recently benefited from the current overtime rules. However, if the Falcons had won the toss, scored right away, and won the game; I would have been very displeased in the overtime format. I've heard many opinions on what the NFL should do, but I haven't been completely sold on anything. I believe the best option would be to utilize the exact same format as the NCAA. I mean it's only fair for both teams to at least get the ball once. In fact, I'm almost in favor of some sort of format where both teams may have the opportunity to get the ball twice, regardless of the other team scoring. Do you guys think the rules should be changed? If so, how?

My gut reaction is yes. However I want to see how things shake out with the new overtime rules which were a step in the right direction. I heard the old problem was statistically that whomever won the coin toss won the game 90% of the time, and with this stat overtime was just a big coin flip. I think after 3-4 seasons of the touchdown/field goal rule we should have a good idea of if the odds are changed.

If they haven't then we should re-examine the rules. I think that the NFL should have an abbreviated quarter, like 7:30 minutes, no 2 min warning etc and whomever wins that wins the game. If that goes in to overtime then another quarter or sudden death.
