Stock Options, But No Money...

I recently started working at a young company with some extraordinary growth. Furthermore, there are solid opportunities for high levels of growth in the years to come. So, I'm already hoping that the company will go public some day and offer stock options. But, what if I don't have much cash lying around? Are there other companies out there who will loan you the money to buy the stocks at the strike price? Or, is it generally just easier to sell the options?

At worst, you could take out an unsecured cash loan, buy up some of your options, liquidate and then use the proceeds to do the rest.

But yes, I'm under the impression such services exist.

Assuming this is FT Can't you be allocated a portion of the employee option pool in lieu of cash comp

Probably. I'll look into that. I'm just trying to get a sense of all the potential ways of making it happen, ahead of time.
