Tailoring Resumes for Trading Jobs

Great question on what makes a good trader resume

I especially like this question considering we look at hundreds every year.

We hire both experienced and inexperienced proprietary traders, so first I'd have to ask which of these categories best fits your experience. But for general purposes the parts that jump off a resume for us includes:

Show me what you've accomplished - whether it's scholastic or on the job. Are you always winning? Are you always seeking a challenge? Do you have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur?

Do you have stick-to-it-ness? Do you have a plan, stick to it and walk away a winner?

Show me results - lead me to believe you've always set out to be a winner and have won.
