Thanks to WSO

Just wanted to stop and thank the creators of WSO. I know they have a vested interest in the site but they do seem genuinely interested in the community and upkeep. I've followed this site for over 3 years and got hooked on Eddy's posts when he still wrote often.

I think the main attraction of this site is it gives you the informal, "water cooler" talk about Wall Street. I come from a non-target so I honestly don't have a lot of people to speak finance with or discuss events. If it weren't for this site I probably wouldn't know UBS sucks compares to other companies, taboos during interviews, how to properly network, etc. etc. While the company research and finance dictionary are immensely helpful, there are really other sources you could find that information - it's only the informal and large community that gives this site the edge.

Anyways, thanks guys.

Definitely, and it allows a lot of the college students start their stride earlier then it would of been possible otherwise, it cools down most of the dicking around to set up a plan.
