The concern question posed to interviewers

At the end of the second round interview, have you ever asked "So do you have any concerns or questions in your mind about my experience as it relates to this position?"

If so, has this strategy worked well for you? And from the interviewers out there: What do you think of this question? Do you appreciate it when a candidate tries to address any of your concerns or do you find it annoying?

Eager to hear everyone's thoughts.

It's definitely one of the riskier questions you could ask. If the interview went really well then it may not be worth the risk. However, if you were able to build a connection they may be more willing to be honest so it's a catch 22 because if the interview went poorly the interviewer might not be as forthcoming.

In general, I would say it depends on the type of interview/interviewer. If the interviewer is friendly and the interview is conversational, I have had 100% success with this question. However, if the interviewer is more reserved then I haven't found it to work so well. I would ask the question if you think the interviewer would respond to it positively (whether or not they actually mention something) and don't ask it if the interviewer seems uptight or guarded during most of the interview.
