Thoughts/Reputation of Credit Suisse HOLT Corporate Advisory?

I know we already have a thread on this topic from years ago but I was wondering if anyone could offer any insight on the group? They're listed under "Investment Banking and Capital Markets" at CS. What part of the deal process do they come into play? Exit Opps? General thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Had a super day for this group. Most buy side investors seem pretty impressed by the work that this group does. The people seem very nice and down to earth, none of the hot shot i banking crap. They are very concerned about their research value add to the investment banking division at CS, and I think they provide additional insight to the normal traditional modeling work that I-bankers would be doing in an industry group. Their work or research potentially may move a decision to merge or acquire a company over another, etc... Best thing to do would be to reach out and network!
