Top 5 Financial Modelling Skills and Excel skills needed for Corporate Development/strategy position

Hello,

My goal is to secure a position in corporate development and strategy in a media company.

Form my research, they all require financial modeling and advanced excel skills.

I have a month to teach these to myself. I was wondering if you can help me out and tell me the top 5 topics I would need/they would ask in an interview for a position at a company...not a equity research firm or investment bank.

Also, if anyone has anymore info on these types of positions I would appreciate it.

Thanks
