It's not obvious to me that transitioning into a woman will help you get a job in PE. However, that would really show a level of commitment that I haven't seen before.
For Christ sake, how did that end up there?! Can a mod please correct that?
Anyhow, do you know if there is any other way to enter PE?

I cannot imagine a more startling negotiation technique in a PE negotiation than whipping out one's former penis (maybe encased in lucite?) and slamming it on the table.
I guess we finally know what puts the "penetration" in "market penetration".
Transitioning into a woman via private equity is not an easy feat. Although there are some similarities - in both cases you'll cry more , grow breasts, and perhaps bleed periodically.
Don't know why I'm reacting to this but: Compared to what, IB?
I always thought that people do less of the above mentioned things in PE compared to IB because most people consider PE a nicer environment than IB because of the better hours etc.
1) It was just a joke my man 2) Hours suck all around from my experience.
I've seen women grow balls when they spend enough time in IB or PE but I've never heard of someone lopping them off to break in.
Btw the title of this thread may be my all-time favorite. Never change it.
