UBS real estate NYC & London - thoughts?
I know UBS has been getting a lot of bad media attention - layoffs etc.
Curious to know anyones thoughts on their real estate IB team? Would exit-opps be limited?
A very senior MD from JP Morgan's REIB team recently left to go to UBS. I know another analyst in that group and he said there's a decent amount of deal flow.

Hasn't their CMBS team all but folded in the past month?
They've lost a lot of people from there and the rumor is they are getting out of CMBS all together soon.
As for other UBS RE units, I'm not sure.
