University Senior Resume

Long time reader, 16th time poster.
Really appreciate any pointers for the resume. From accounting background.

version 2 http://www.razume.com/documents/21910

Only 1 employment experience because all other experiences were very similar. At accounting firms they get you to do the same shit over and over again.

it says 2 pages, but second page is blank.

I know everyone's got time to do much better things, so thanks for any input. I'll make sure to pay it forward on this forum!

Please remove 'Excel, PowerPoint, Word' from your Technical Skills section. You SHOULD be able to operate Microsoft Office effortlessly if you're looking for a career in finance. It's like me saying 'Fluent in English' under the Languages section, when my entire resume is written in flawless English.

You should create a 4th point to reflect your personal portfolio, but only if you have done pretty well in managing it, e.g. beat the S&P 500 by ___% in returns. And the size of your portfolio should be written down if it is of a significant amount.

Thanks for the good responses.

Accounting and finance is vague, proficiency in accounting is also demonstrated in first employment exp, so I agree with your point and changed it to just "Finance Specialization"

Excel, ppt, word is redundant I agree, have removed as advised.

As for readings, have deleted that section and instead, added "reading" as part of my interests.

As for my personal portfolio, unfortunately it didn't do well enough nor is it significant portion of wealth, as I am not out of college and money's hard to come by. So I think i won't add a section for that.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Version 2 now updated. Any more tips are greatly appreciated!
