UT-Austin vs UC Berkeley for Grad.

As i've previously discussed i'm heading to a "public ivy" in the fall as a transfer so graduate school is not too far away. I had wanted to attend UT Austin or UC Berkeley for undergrad but economically it just isn't feasible. Which one has the better grad program for breaking into finance?

Not many Austin people in NYC in general. Berkeley is quite good for finance and very respected especially on the West coast. You haven't said what your end goal is, but I would say go with Berkley.

I'm from CA and have a lot of friends who go to UC Berkeley. It has pretty good placement along the West Coast, so if that's what you want, it's good for you. I haven't heard about much placement to other places like NYC or Chicago
