Wake Forest MA in Management vs. Tufts MIB vs. John Hopkins MSF

I have admits from the three programs above and was wondering what, in your guys opinion, would be the best program?

I want to get into IB or Consultancy

I am awaiting offers/rejects from Columbia MFE, Vandy MSF, Nova MSF, Ivey Managment, Duke MMS, UIUC and Carnegie Mellon MSPPM (left field choice but I really like the program and the university is terrific. They have great placement stats in consulting)

Thanks for any suggestions/advice!

ANT:
JH has a great brand name, but the program is kind of nebulous. I think Tufts and WF have equally good names and more structured programs. Would wait on the other schools before you make a decision.

Ant, have you ever had any contact with the JH admissions dept for their MSF? I would think, with their reputation, they would be seeking to expand on the program and make it more competitive for selection.

yeah, know a few people that have done the Wake program and have done very well (consulting wise). solid program, but for ib, id wait for the vandy and duke acceptances.

personally id never want to spend a second around where jh is, but it is a brand name, and i guess that is what matters

For the Duke MMS you have to begin in the summer right? So you're going to compete without a summer analyst spot ..... discuss ur plans please

Also, Johns Hopkins is a part-time program, what are you going to do all day?

I realise JH is a PT program but I considered the brand name, It's a highly regarded school so felt it prudent to apply in order to have choices. But I am absolutely considering all my options before I go ahead.

Duke MMS starts in summer..I have a good enough background, I believe, to gain entry into IB and Consultancy. I currently work for a consultancy firm in London but their reach and clients is somewhat limited and I felt a chance to work abroad on a larger scale is a good move for me.

I dumped being a lawyer as the career was not for me. Having interned extensively at large law firms in the UK and abroad, the work environment was not something I felt I wanted to commit to. The great thing is with a law degree, your options are unlimited hence I'm going in this direction.

What do you guys think of my chances at Duke MMS? Its defo my number 1 choice ahead of Nova, Vandy, Tufts, etc. Their program seems ideal for me but I applied kinda late, but within the deadlines. Will this have an adverse effect??

@New Yorker,

I forgot to mention they have something called a 'Winternship' which essentially replaces the summer internship.

Yeah dude but recruiting ends in october doesn't it?

also look into the UVA MA Accountancy .... seems like you have access to all recruiters at Darden (someone provide insight on this?)

Not too interested in Accountancy tbh, although I can probably gain access to other fields, Accountancy, not my thing.

Not too sure what you mean by recruiting ends in October. So what if it does? You have from July to Oct to find a place.
