Warren Buffett misquote...

So I was doing a bit of reading, and happened across a quote purported to be from Buffett, that "I try to buy stock in businesses that are so wonderful that an idiot can run them. Because sooner or later, one will."

This struck me as strange as I thought Buffett's unique brand of value investing specifically targets companies with strong management, and I thought that I saw the quote by Peter Lynch, so I did a bit of research:

I guess the point of my rant is that it annoys me when people misappropriate quotes, especially when the quote in question contradicts the general philosophy of the author.

Cool story bro.

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."
