Hi all,
I am interested to learn more on company valuations in general. For example, like what are the elements to look at when you evaluate companies for buyouts or etc (the ratios and how to interpret it). Damodaran's webpage is quite useful but I am wondering if there are any others out there to recommend?
Cheers.

For one, check out
For one, check out macabus.com
They provide free resources on learning M&A valuation and a little bit on DCFs. Not sure about LBOs.
I also check investopedia. Although its not as mentioned as macabus, I really benefitted from their information this summer.
In terms of ratios, i guess for buyouts you would be looking at transaction comps. Ratios apply differently to different industries when looking at comps, but main ones are just P/E, EV/Rev, EV/Ebit, EV/Ebitda.
Thats the limited knowledge i learned from my intern gig this summer.
third macabus, that site
third macabus, that site really has everything you'd ever need to get started
