where to take my master in finance
I'm almost done with my bachelor in economics, and i want to take my master in the US and preferably in the subject finance, but i have trouble finding a university offering these programs for students with no prior experience.
i'm Living in denmark and here you cant get a job just with a bachelor degree
I'm an average student (ECTS grade C) i think the equivalent in GPA is 2,9-3ish on the 1-4 scale
you'll be hard pressed to find ant MA or MSc programs in the US, as the system is set up largely for direct entry into 5-year PhD programs, through which after completing the class requirements, you get the MA or MSc automatically.
Why not look at European schools? Will be cheaper in any case.
I know Princeton, MIT and Boston College all offer pre experience MFin, but you will find it really hard to get in with a GPA of C (almost impossible in the first two...)
You should definetely look into european schools.
The Ohio State University isn't Ivy league but has a good MFin program and is a well-known school. Gpa could be an issue, but i know they make a pretty good effort to accept international students. Good Luck
