Ultimate Networking Opportunity

We're always talking about how important networking is to break into Wall Street. Well you don't get an opportunity like this one very often. Gawker just published Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit's cell phone number:

Why bother hounding analysts and associates when you can go right to the top? If you're looking for a job on the Street, give Vik a ring and introduce yourself. And let me know how it goes.

Edmundo BravermanCan you imagine what a pain in the ass it is to get your cell phone number changed if you're Vikram Pandit?

I would imagine not hard at all, you have a secretary that knows all the secretaries of those you want to have your number.

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

Anyone with a ton of business contacts has a contact database. The secretary just has to send a mass e-mail about number change to everyone there. 5 minutes of work.

FutureTrader21I just called and said I was calling from the FED on behalf of the Bernank. I was put on hold...still waiting.

Sure you did.
