1st Year Associate

I was accepted into a veteran's program, essentially a back-office internship, and was able to make some good contacts and befriend a partner who became my advocate. By taking advantage of the veterans network within GS, I was able to connect with an associate in the IB division, who also championed my cause to move into IB from Ops, he shepherded my resume to the right people. I was accelerated straight to the SF Superday just before I started my second year of B school. I received a verbal offer the next day.
