Summer Analyst

I had three interviews at the new york office. The first two were mostly fit question. One interviewer was relatively friendly, the other less so. In the second I was asked about quantitative classes I took, and projects I had worked on. The asked me how I would describe several quantitative concepts to someone with out a math back ground. The third interview was straight technical questions. It started with a brain teaser which was really a question about markov chains. Then several questions about econometrics. Overall, the atmosphere was friendlier then I expected. Be prepared to talk about why you want to work in industry and not research at a university. Definitely brush up econometrics, and using markov chains to probability problems.
