Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Having developed a relationship with an alumni contact at the firm, I maintained that relationship and was offered to interview in an accelerated interview slot. I bypassed the first round interview process and went straight to a "super day" in NY. I had 4, 30 min. interviews back-to-back all of which were 1 v 1 except one which was 2 v 1. One interviewer asked about thoughts on general economic economic trends in relation to my research experience, another about my technical finance knowledge, and the remaining two were more behavioral interviews. I received a call 3 days later with an offer.
