Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied online on Morgan Stanley website to Woodland Hills CA branch. After the online application Ihad to do an online IQ test. Few days later I got an email asking to schedule a phone screen. Had the phones even. A few hrs after the phone screen a broker from Woodland Hills called, did a short phone interview and asked me to do a business plan and email it back. He emailed the form and I filled it out and sent it the next day. Few days later the broker called and said they were not hiring at Woodland Hills branches anymore this season, that the business plan looked fine and that he could only call in the summer but I could try other branches. I went to a recruiting event at the Beverly Hills branch and contact the Branch manager of Sherman Oaks branch. Sherman Oaks Branch responded immediately. I emailed my resume and business plan and an in person interview was scheduled with the Branch Manager where he went over my resume and business plan. At the interview I was told he was hiring for 1 WAA position and 1 FAA position. Next day he called back saying he could not finish the interview process as all training spots were taken until October and he would contact me closer to October. I might still be a Morgan Stanley FA but am not one at this point.
